When I ask these people what they object to about Trump's proposals, they start gibbering about his personal failings, real and imaginary. Or they start yelling about "Bone spurs! Bone spurs! He DODGED THE DRAFT!" as if Vietnam was WWII, and they're personally privy to the man's private medical records. Or they allege (as David Brin still does) that he's some sort of agent of Russia (God DAMN Hillary and her people for coming up with that particular lie!)

They were using it somewhat in 2020, in 2021 in relation to the Jan6 Violent Insurrection (if they can label Murder-Loot-Burn as 'mostly peaceful protests, then that is exactly how they see the J6 FBI-led entrance to the Capital) and used it starting in 2023 when it was obvious Trump was going to win in 2024.
